The color intensity these low voltage landscape lights produce is incredible. Very intense and bright. Highly recommended.

The already included scenes are going to be fun to play with throughout the year.

Only complaints have to do with the app.

1) Scheduling on/off via the app - no option for setting the lights to turn on at dusk and off at dawn. You have to set a specific time for each. It seems like such a simple thing to have excluded from an otherwise full featured app.
2) The custom scene builder is pretty basic. A single color - constant on, blinking or “breathing” - are the only options. Some of the built in scenes will alternate colors - but that option is not given for custom scenes.

Except for a few minor missing functions in the app - these landscape lights are highly recommended!!

$130+ is a lot of money for only six lights. I get it. It almost stopped me from buying them. But don't eliminate them as an option just because of the price point. Here's why:

#1 - They're stout, easy to install, and they look great. Every concern I had prior to them being delivered was alleviated once they arrived.

Each light housing is metal, including the top "hood" which is important where I live (Midwest) due the broad weather fluctuations (rain, hail, snow, etc..). No cheap plastic with these lights!

The cabling is amazing. To say it's robust would be an understatement. Not sure what gauge the wire is but it's thicker than most outdoor extension cords.

Cheap products aren't great. Great products aren't cheap.

#2 - Customer service. The lights use a 5-pin connector to plug into the main cable. One of the lights' plug had a broken pin. I contacted customer service to request a new connector which I had intended to just wire it myself. XMCOSY offered to send me two new lights. One as a replacement and one as a gift. I mean, who does that? Well XMCOSY does. Read other reviews. Others have the same great experience with their customer service.

#3 - Finally, six lights were not going to be enough for my yard, but this was a trial. If I didn't like them, would just send them back.

I've actually ordered three more sets.

I do wish they came as a pack of more than six, but that's a small complaint and XMCOSY has my business for good.

XMCOSY+ knows how to build outdoor light products the right way. They start with shipping in an easy to open and sturdy carton that lets you easily identify each part. The directions have both clear pictures and wording. There is an insert that explains that you must line up each arrow when connecting. I highly suggest you connect all cabling and test before burying the wiring to ensure you correctly connected each arrow to arrow. The cabling is thick and water sealed very well, which will surely last for a long time. The lights themselves are solid and not plastic. They are intuitively designed to allow the cabling to be buried seamlessly and even offer a push point to help in securing them to the ground. To have the lights turn off and on at the same time every day, be sure to select each day of the week in the timer section until all days are green (as indicated in the picture attached here), and then press save. You just have to connect to a 2.4g network for the initial connection and then not again to use concurrently. I highly recommend this product and the XMCOSY+ brand!

There are more commercial options available but who wants to pay $300+ per light?

So I purchased these lights to be used at a residential home hoping for longevity and a well constructed model.
The longevity will take some time to tell but so far so good.
The construction of the lights is better then expected. All metal construction. The stakes are metal as well and have a welded "foot pedal" to be used to press them into the ground. You could use a rubber mallet as well to stamp them into the ground due to the foot pedal. Cool add on to the stakes. And I really like the all metal. The LED's will falter long before the body/chassis of the lights does.

This is my second set of XMCosy lights. I have the dual head pathway lights that I used all summer. I had one issue and their customer service team was all over it. I sent them several question's about if I could do this or that and received a response with hours.
I was able to connect to my WIFI on the first try on both sets of lights. I would recommend making sure you have a mesh network to give you the range you will need for outdoor WIFI applications. Most networks only extend so far from the source so having a mesh network will give you that extra range you may need. If you are experiencing WIFI connection issues, check your WIFI signal strength at the WIFI point of the XMCosy power block.

***Most important - Make sure you line up the notch on the male connector with the notch on the female connector. When you look at it, you will see a plastic "notch" on each connection in the inner ring/circle of the connector and they need to line up. Do not just plug in the connectors. Line up the plastic notches or they may not work as they should.***

Even though the power block is waterproof, I plan to buy a waterproof box with an outdoor multi outlet so I pack away the power block for the winter and allow more electric outlets if needed.

I really like all the preset color schemes included. There a a ton of them. This will be cool for holidays and just playing around.
As it is WIFI, it has the standard scheduling options for automation which is the primary reason I want WIFI outdoor lights...automation.
Auto on. Auto off. On with a command from Alexa. Off with a command from Alexa.
If WIFI is not the most convenient technology in the modern home, I do not know what is. And XMCosy has integrated WIFI and Alexa into these lights quite well.
