Overall great lights!
These lights are great! App and Alexa controlled... they can get bright or be dimmed... what a great set of smart string lights. The bulbs on them are plastic so no worries about them breaking easily and they are very lightweight too so they wont sag like the heavier string lights. You can even set them on a timer. How great is that?! BUT..... The only draw back is that there is no remote with them. They are completely app controlled. That is why I took away a star. If you didn't have to rely solely on the app to work them then they'd get that 5th star.
This is the second set of bistro lights we've ordered...the first was 50', these are 47'. Different companies, different lengths, other than the length and lack of a dimmer controller, they are otherwise identical. Without the dimmer, I can only attest to their full brightness, and that seems to be as bright as the other set we have. Over all, I'm happy with them, I just wish they had the in-line dimmer so I wouldn't have to search for and buy separately.

These lights give off a beautiful soft white glow that makes my deck feel welcoming and relaxing as the sun goes down. They’re bright enough to light the space yet have a charming vintage filament bulb look.
I appreciate the durable bulbs that won’t shatter. The lights can take year-round exposure to sun, rain, and snow when strung under the eaves. Two extra bulbs were included just in case.
The lights emit a nicer glow at 2200K versus cool LED hues. They dim smoothly to set just the right mood, from soft and romantic to bright for tasks like grilling.
If you want to make your patio an after-dark oasis, these XMCOSY string lights create the perfect atmosphere. They really extended my enjoyment of my deck into the evenings with such an elegant, cozy vibe. I never want to take them down!

APP Wi-Fi Control
- Use XMcosy App which is available on the App Store, you can control the XMcosy led outdoor string lights on your phone anytime, anywhere.
- You can dimmable light brightness, custom light scenes, timer switch, and group control multiple smart devices or family member device sharing.
- NOTE: To connect the string lights with app, please make sure your Wi-Fi router contains 2.4 GHz band.
Need to use 2.4G band to connect app and you can control the string light under Wi-Fi (including 5G & 2.4G) or cellular data after successful paired.
Voice Control Free your hands
XMcosy 2200k led patio lights work with Alexa and Google Assistant. After connection, you could freely tell your Alexa or Google Assistant to turn on/off, lighten/dim remotely. Some common commands:
- Alexa, set brightness to 80%.
- Alexa, turn on/off the string lights.
- Ok Google, brighten/dim the string lights.
Independent controller/Adapter
Sometimes, the place where you want to set the lights doesn't have wifi. Don't worry.This light string uses a separate controller.When the adapter is removed, it can be directly plugged in and used as normal lights. And when using the adapter, it works as smart patio lights.
